The new Transparency Act, which entered into force on July 1, 2022, obliges DI (Distribution Innovation) to carry out due diligence assessments in line with the OECD's guidelines for multinational companies, respond to information requests from the general public, and account for our work with due diligence assessments. The purpose of the Transparency Act is to promote and contribute to companies' respect for basic human rights and decent working conditions, closely linked to corporate sustainability efforts. The Act ensures transparency about actual and potential negative impacts on companies' operations, business partners, and supply chains.
DI was founded in 2001 and is a service provider of IT and consulting services in Norway, Sweden, and Finland. Our business is operated from Oslo, Norway.
DI is committed to actively promoting human rights and employee rights. We strive to work with responsible suppliers and partners. In 2022, we adopted a new Code of Conduct that describes our commitment to conducting our business in accordance with the UN's Global Compact. These ethical guidelines include principles on human rights, employee rights, business ethics, equality, anti-discrimination, forced labor, child labor, and environmental sustainability.
DI aims to contribute positively to promoting respect for human rights and employee rights. We, therefore, choose to work with responsible suppliers and partners.
At DI, we systematically incorporate human rights aspects into our operations and our relationships with partners. We ensure decent wages for our employees, regulated working hours, and have zero tolerance for child labor in our own business and supply chain.
We continually evaluate and improve our routines to prevent, mitigate, or remedy any involvement in violations of human rights and decent working conditions. This is an ongoing process with the goal of achieving real improvements for people in our own business and throughout our supply chain.
To ensure that our partners understand our expectations regarding basic human rights and labor rights, DI has established clear guidelines that our partners are required to follow, as outlined in our Code of Conduct.
Recently, DI conducted an overarching due diligence assessment to identify the most significant risk areas in accordance with the Transparency Act. No serious incidents or significant risks were found in our own operations or among our suppliers. We continuously monitor and address any potential risks in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
DI is committed to updating this page with future findings from due diligence assessments as required by the Transparency Act. We maintain close cooperation with employees, suppliers, partners, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure proper follow-up.
